We had such a fun morning touring the newly-opened Quail Valley Station 5 in Menifee. With a rapidly growing community, this newly remodeled facility is designed to meet the increased demand that the area requires. We brought the fire fighters a bag of handmade cards, donuts and chips, and enjoyed an educational morning of learning about a day in the life of a fire fighter, all about the fire trucks, the layout of the station, and types of emergencies that they encounter in the area. With all of the recent fires, we are so grateful that these heroes made a little time for us! The kids absolutely loved it and looked so cute with their little red fire helmets! If you want to participate in the next tour, I will be sending the next date in my newsletter, so be sure to subscribe so you are "in the know" on all of the local fun!
